This blog will hopefully be a place for me to share my projects with you and tell some stories along the way.
As my 'about me' says I'm a 21-year-old newlywed who enjoys crafting to almost an indecent degree. I love sewing, painting, cross stitch, flower arranging, wreath making, altered art - you name, I'll try it. Rather than asking how to do things (or even reading instructions) I go about my crafting with the mad scientist mentality. This has resulted in surprisingly few catastrophes, but those few failures have been spectacular in their own right.
I am quite eclectic in my interests and decorating tastes. I'm just as likely to get giddy over an old copy of Super Mario Bros. for the NES as I am over a vintage lace doily. It's fun trying to find a way to combine geek, rustic, country, primitive, antique, and vintage items into workable decor, but that's half the fun!
My wonderful husband, John, and I have been together for almost 6 years. We were married on May 21st of this year. He is a computer programmer and will be taking care of the "techie" side of things. I'm sure I'll share some of the more interesting stories involving my husband and I's haphazard adventures.
Time for me to start my day and work on some awesome crafts. Better get out the goggles and fire extinguisher.
